COVID-19 Instrument Hire Help

We understand at these difficult times that some families will be finding payment of these invoices challenging, especially where you might have significantly reduced incomes. We do not want to let money be a barrier to your child continuing to learn on the instrument they have chosen and we have made funding available to support this. Please click here to complete the COVID-19 Instrument Hire Help form and email to mark.medland@gloucestershire.gov.uk

Music Education in Gloucestershire 2015/16

A snapshot of music education in Gloucestershire in 2015/16 has been published by Make Music Gloucestershire, the county's music education hub.
The report is a snapshot of the work in 2015/16 of schools, and organisations funded by Make Music Gloucestershire, in reaching young people through music education.

The aim is to help schools, music education organisations, musicians, and others working with young people in music to build a picture of music education in the county, understand what's happening and what's needed, and plan accordingly. Also and importantly it will contribute to the analysis of how effective the Hub is in delivering on the requirements of the National Plan for Music Education, and the Core and Extension Roles of hubs set out by Arts Council England and the Department for Education as a requirement of hub funding.
