Three Choirs Festival Youth Choir


Applications open to join the Three Choirs Festival Youth Choir.  Closing date Friday 26th May 2017


The Three Choirs Festival Youth Choir was formed in 2010, when over 40 singers took part in the first concert in Tewkesbury Abbey. The choir is made up of keen singers aged 14-25 who join from around the county and beyond.

This year, the Youth Choir will join forces with the choristers of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester cathedrals, soloists Lorna Anderson, Nicholas Mulroy and Andrew Davies, and the Philharmonia Orchestra for a performance of Jonathan Dove's There Was a Child and Fauré Requiem on the evening of Thursday 27 July 2017.

Rehearsals will take place on Monday 24 - Wednesday 26 July in St Andrew’s Methodist Church, Worcester.

How to Apply

To sign up for the 2017 Youth Choir, please APPLY ONLINE by Friday 26 May 2017

Please note that the parents of participants under the age of 18 will also be asked to complete a consent form. This, along with further details of rehearsals and performance, will be sent to Youth Choir members after application. 

Youth Choir members are also welcome to request VOLUNTEERING roles, which can be arranged around the Youth Choir schedule, and to take advantage of standby tickets subject to availability.
